Frequently Asked Questions

Hydrostatic Head (HH) measures a fabric's level of waterproofing by determining the height of a water column it can withstand before leaking, measured over different areas of a fabric or product. A higher number indicates a greater waterproof level. 1,000mm to 5,000mm is considered water resistant, whilst 10,000mm+ is considered waterproof in severe conditions. We use the International Standard BS EN 20811:1992.
